Midterms and Final Weeks

College can be an incredibly stressful time for new, old, and returning students. All students know that midterms and finals especially can be incredibly taxing mentally. A common issue with all students, new and old, issues with time management and information retention. At Pace University, there are a variety of services available to help assist students with getting through their exams, classwork, or any other educational issues.

The Counseling Center

The Counseling Center helps students work out personal, academic, or vocational problems. This is done through sessions with professionally trained staff.  At the Counseling Center, staff work with students to help identify the root of their difficulties. Through the process of counseling, students often gain “increased awareness, independence, and effectiveness in the pursuit of personal goals.” The Counseling Center is a great way to organize your class resources, work on time management, or get any and all concerns resolved.

The Library 

The Pace University Library comprises the Birnbaum Library on the NYC campus, the Mortola Library in Pleasantville, and the Law School Library in White Plains, New York.

These libraries are not just great resources for your school books and online citations, but also offer several different classrooms, computers, tutors, and additional services. Additionally, there are over 120 research databases available for students to use.

The Writing Center

All writers benefit from individualized attention to their writing and their writing process. For this reason, the Pace University Writing Center works with all writers at any stage of the writing process. Our free writing consultations offer writers individualized support as they negotiate the demands that press upon any genre of writing. In addition to offering writing consultations for individuals and groups, the Writing Center also offers programming and engages in research dedicated to writing and writing instruction.
